Opening Ceremony and Bazaar Day
Sunway University Musical Theatre 2023 <Philautia>
The opening ceremony of Sunway University Musical Theatre 2023 production, <Philautia>, featured speeches by Mr. Augustine (Club Advisor of SUCCS), Ms. Lee Siok Ping (Director of Student Life), and Wong Lee Xien (Event President).
During the opening ceremony, our emcees explained the objectives of our musical theatre to Sunway University students. Additionally, the bazaar day consists of approximately 19 stalls offering a wide selection of merchandise for attendees to choose from. It aims to provide relaxation, joy, and the opportunity to find something they love. The event will also feature a performance by our ambassador, Madison.
Opening Ceremony
During the opening ceremony on 2nd May, all event committees had gathered and listened to the speech given by Mr Augustine (Club Advisor of SUCCS), Ms Lee Siok Ping (Director of Student Life), and Wong Lee Xien (Event President). Our emcees also explained the objectives of this musical theatre and the meaning behind our event's name.
Bazaar
There were a variety of stalls at the bazaar, including those selling food, pastries, accessories, art-and-craft items, games, and cosmetics. Additionally, there was a booth where participants could purchase tickets and postcards for our event.
Madison Performance

Honored to have Madison 刘汉杰 as the ambassador for Sunway University Musical Theatre 2023 <Philautia>. As a music prodigy, Madison has participated in various renowned singing competitions, including Astro Talent Quest, Taiwan’s One Million Star, and Beijing Water Cube Cup Malaysia Regional Competition, where he has won numerous awards.
In 2019, he released his debut EP, which contains eight self-written singles, showcasing his talent in music composition and songwriting.
